Exhibitor Screening
At GEWWC, every application that is received is thoroughly reviewed by our team of naturopathic medical doctors, nutritionists, chemical engineers and environmental scientists. Most conferences and expos do not have a screening process that scientifically checks the ingredients and claims behind the companies that exhibit and present. We are not perfect but we want to bring awareness to both consumers and companies so that we share a collective responsibility.
We will reject applications from companies that use the following ingredients in there products. Scientific research has conclusively and consistently shown these ingredients link to breast cancer, infertility, birth defects, hormone disruption, hypo/hyper thyroid disease, mental/nerve degeneration and autoimmune diseases such as M.S:

On average women use 12 different cosmetic products per day with a diverse collection of toxic synthetic compounds. Even if each contain less then the recommended "safe" amount, the combination overrides it. Over time they bioaccumulate in our bodies and this is one of the reasons why women are developing diseases at an exponential rate. Most of these compounds are banned in many other countries including Canada, Australia and the U.K.
